About International Office

The Coordination of International and Interinstitutional Cooperation (COI) is the international office of Mackenzie Presbyterian University, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing international and interinstitutional initiatives.

Established in July 2003, COI supports the University's Rectorate by facilitating academic, research, and extension collaborations across all disciplines.

COI acts as the primary point of contact for international universities, government bodies, and organizations. The office manages the following areas:

• Partnership Negotiation and Management: Structuring, negotiating, and formalizing bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, memoranda of understanding (MoUs), and specific exchange protocols.

• Academic Mobility Programmes: Coordinating and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate student exchanges, as well as faculty and researcher mobility for both inward and outward participants.

• Strategic Advisory and Due Diligence: Intermediating institutional risk assessment and legal compliance verification for international agreements to ensure alignment with university standards.

• Delegation and Visit Coordination: Organizing official overseas itineraries for senior university representatives and managing the logistics, scheduling, and protocol for incoming international delegations.

• Information Hub: Maintaining the institutional database of international partners and providing centralized access to international mobility and research opportunities.
