
Mackenzie Presbyterian University (MPU) held the 3rd International Multi-project Symposium from the CAPES PrInt Program from September 27th to 30th for students and professors of all levels (undergraduate and graduate), to showcase all the results achieved during the implementation of the project.
The CAPES PrInt is an Institutional Internationalization Plan that is implemented on 36 Brazilian universities including Makenzie Presbyterian University, with a granted fund of 10 million Reais, which aims to improve the university’s internationalization in multiple levels, ranging from collaborative research projects with foreign entities to academic mobility of both students and professors. Provost of Research and Graduate Programs, Professor Felipe Chiarello highlighted the importance of internationalization and research saying how his teachers changed his life when they offered him an opportunity to go to Harvard and the New York University.
During the three days of symposium, there were four panels that showcased the main themes of research developed through the partnership of Mackenzie and CAPES: Nano and Micro Scale: Materials and Functional Devices; Brain, Cognition and Behavior; Language, cities, and culture; The Cosmic Scale: Earth and the Universe.
In addition to the Symposium, the 18th Congress of Undergraduate Research took place, showcasing the results of the research projects developed by the undergraduate students of MPU.
