CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - CAPES THESIS AWARD OF PPGEMN-MACKENZIE

Dear Doctors,

The applications for the CAPES Thesis Award of PPGEMN 2025 are now open, aimed at theses defended throughout the year of 2024. We invite all interested parties to participate in the selection process. The Award Evaluation Committee will be responsible for selecting the best thesis submitted, and may also grant an honourable mention at its discretion. To be eligible, it is essential that the thesis is properly registered on the Sucupira Platform. The thesis selected in first place within the PPGEMN will receive an award certificate and will be nominated to represent the programme at the national stage of the CAPES Thesis Award – 2025 Edition. In the national stage, CAPES will establish specific committees for each assessment area, responsible for choosing the awarded theses.

Application:

To apply, the thesis must have been defended in 2024. Please send the documents listed below to PPGEMN by 30/04/2025 to the email: materiais.pos@mackenzie.br

Please write "CAPES Award Application 2025" in the subject line of the email.

Documents for Application (all in PDF format, except the photo):

1. Complete copy of the Thesis;

2. Statement, signed by the author, agreeing to the submission of their thesis for the award;

3. Mini summary of the thesis (up to 500 characters);

4. Photo (JPEG) of the thesis author with a resolution of 300 DPI;

5. Copies of accepted articles and/or books for publication, or other relevant products derived from the thesis, which may be considered by the award judging committee.

In the body of the email, please include any relevant information that may support your nomination. Examples: aspects of originality and innovation in the thesis, interviews/reports, awards, good grades in courses, approved post-doctoral scholarship, location of research/project/work, approved research projects, and future perspectives.
