The Graduate Program in Education, Art, and Cultural History rates five (5) in the classification rendered by the Brazilian Coordination for Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES which corresponds to the concept of excellence. The program consists of educating researchers and professors to produce interdisciplinary knowledge from the following areas: Education, Art, and Cultural History, with an emphasis on contemporaneity. Interdisciplinarity research is conducted through educational, artistic, technological, and cultural manifestations, as well as the knowledge produced in research is disseminated through a diversity of medias, such as: exhibitions, curatorship, teaching materials and musical, theatrical, cinematographic, and audiovisual performances.
