Post Doctorate

The Graduate Program in Science and Geospatial Applications (CAGE) of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in partnership with the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies has one Post doctoral scholarship, from the Postdoctoral National Program (PNPD) CAPES / MEC in accordance with Ordinance CAPES No. 086, de03 / 7/2013.

 

This scholarship is intended to develop a research project within one of the CAGE areas:  

· Solar Physics

· Solar-Terrestrial Relations

· Earth Ionosphere

· Geoprocessing

· Stellar Activity and Extra solar Planets

· Nuclear Physics

· Quasars

· Instrumentation and Radio Astronomy

 

Applicants must have a Doctorate Degree in the related fields mentioned above and should not have a paid job or any other kind of scholarship.

It is possible to enroll researchers who fall into the following categories (as provided from CAPES 086 / 2-013 requirements):

a. Brazilian or foreign resident in Brazil with a temporary visa holder, without employment;

b. Foreign resident abroad without employment;

c. Teacher or researcher in Brazil with employment in higher education institutions or public research institutions, provided there is a license from the home institution for a period compatible with the scholarship length.

 

Employees of the Presbyterian Mackenzie University are not eligible.

 

The accumulation of any other kind of CAPES scholarship is prohibited, as well as from another funding agency, national or international, public or private enterprise, or paid professional practices, exceptions provided in item (c) or expressly permitted by Capes.
