Stages of the Selection Process

DEGREE PROGRAM SELECTION PROCESS – SECOND SEMESTER 2017

CONTROLLERSHIP - PROFESSIONAL

 

1. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE TEST  

a) Composition: The composition will be written based on a current topic not necessarily related to the Controllership area. The purpose of the test is to evaluate the applicant’s communication and expression skills.  

b) Specific Knowledge: This test will include a case study and/or problem-solving and/or theoretical questions associated with the Controllership area. The purpose of the test is to evaluate the applicant’s ability to apply specific accounting/controllership knowledge.      

 

At the time of the test, applicants must choose one of two areas: Financial Accounting or Management Control.      

 

Notice: No reference materials (books, doctrine, legislation) will be allowed during the written test. Test reviews are not allowed. The selection commission’s decision is sovereign and not subject to appeal.      

 

Scientific or financial calculators will be allowed.

3. TEST OF PROFICIENCY IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE  

The proficiency test involves translating a text into Portuguese.      

 

Notice: A single copy of a conventional, non-electronic, one-language dictionary without a glossary for Portuguese terms will be allowed. No test review will be allowed.  

 

Proficiency choices (Professional Master): English.      

 

CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED BY THE PROGRAM

 

4. INTERVIEW – PROFESSIONAL MASTER DEGREE    

Interviews will take place on specific dates to be arranged on the day of the test.
