About Capes/PrInt

Capes/PrInt has been designed to develop and implement the internationalization of the specific academic areas chosen by the institutions in an effort to foster the development of international research networks. With that in mind, Capes intends to reinforce the networks of support to internationalization in graduate programs. This will consequently lead to the improvement of the quality of academic production in this field of education. The program also includes the mobility of faculty and students to foster an international environment in participating institutions.

The general objective of the project is to act in the synthesis, processing, modification and characterization of micro and nano-structured materials in order to generate multifunctional materials, adding mainly electromagnetic and biological properties. To this end, the use of two-dimensional materials (graphene and others) and surface modification techniques (eg plasma technology) will be widely used.
Coordinator: Prof. Guilhermino José Macedo Fechine
