Mackenzie Third International Week

Mackenzie Presbyterian University (MPU) held the 3rd International Week from August 14 to 18. This exciting event was dedicated to celebrating the institution's commitment to international collaboration and cultural diversity. Throughout the week, students and professors engaged in a variety of activities, including lectures, discussions, cultural exchanges, and networking. These activities were designed to create an atmosphere of global awareness and appreciation for international experiences.

The opening lecture called The Importance of Internationalization given by Dr. Simone Fuso, Coordination Advisor from Mackenzie’s Coordination for International and Interinstitutional Cooperation (COI) provided valuable insights into how international experiences can help students broaden their horizons, foster intercultural competence, and acquire invaluable skills in diverse academic and professional environments.

One of the central themes of this event was MPU's steadfast commitment to internationalization as a fundamental component of its educational mission. The university recognizes that internationalization enriches the educational experience, preparing students for an internationally connected world and promoting cross-cultural understanding.

In addition to the representative Mackenzie’s Coordination for International and Interinstitutional Cooperation (COI), representatives from the Babes Bolyai University, Le'Ecole de Design-Nantes Atlantique, EducationUSA, TU Graz, Campus France, British Council, the Canadian Consulate, Prime Language Courses, Universidad de Congreso and UDELAR were present.
