A delegation from Mackgraphe visited the UCS Caxias do Sul campus, which houses UCS GRAPHENE

A MackGraphe entourage, composed of its general director Prof. Dr. Benedito G. Aguiar Neto, Dr. Marcelo Silva Oliveira, project manager, accompanied by researchers, Dr. Camila Marchetti Maroneze and Dr. Guilhermino José Macêdo Fechine, visited the Caxias do Sul campus of the UCS - University of Caxias do Sul , which houses the UCSGRAPHENE arm of the UCS responsible for the production of Graphene and the development of R&D projects with the industry and the Instituto Hercílio Random (IHR), the institute responsible for innovation in the companies of the Random group.
The entourage was initially received by the Rector of UCS, Prof. Dr. Gelson Leonardo Rech Rech and the management staff, for an institutional presentation, shortly after, a visit was made to the graphene production facilities, accompanied by Prof. Diego Piazza, manager of UCSGRAPHENE, who explained about the business models, projects and partnerships carried out.
The delegation also visited the Hercílio Random Institute (IHR), located on the UCS Campus, where it was received by its Technical Director, Engineer Joel Boaretto. As a result of this visit, there was a rapprochement between the two institutions and the identification of possible projects to be carried out together with MackGraphe.
The MackGraphe team was very impressed with the achievements and portfolio of projects carried out by both organizations visited, in addition to the traditional Rio Grande do Sul receptivity.
