The current Strategic Planning cycle of Mackenzie covers the period from 2016 to 2025 and guides the activities of four Strategic Areas: Higher Education; Basic Education; Business and Expansion; and Management.
The year 2017 was dedicated to structuring the planning with the various internal areas in order to perform the alignment of the action plans with the Strategic Guidelines. The preparation of the Strategic Planning of the next cycle also began in the year.
In 2017, Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute invested R$1,714,200.00 in programs in order to improve its staffing, which benefited 6,591 participants and resulted in an average of 13.3 hours/year/participant. Furthermore, throughout the year several actions were carried out aimed at the health and well-being of employees.
With a focus on social responsibility, and to provide quality of life for its employees, Mackenzie maintains the following set of benefits: education financial aid, day care allowance and agreement, private pension, medical and dental care assistance, food basket, life insurance, pharmacy agreement and meal card.
In 2017, 704 scholarships were awarded to employees and their dependents: 302 in Basic Education, 224 in undergraduate and 178 in postgraduate studies.
