¡Hola, mackenzistas!

My name is Bianca, I am a student of the 5th semester of journalism and I am in an exchange season in Salamanca, Spain. I’m writing in order to encourage you to this adventure, since I have been here for less than a month and I can safely say that it has been one of the best moments of my life.

Spain is beautiful, the people - although they are inward compared to Brazilians - are kind and hospitable. The University of Salamanca is, to use a very good Spanish word, estupenda! The teachers are genial and the students are very receptive with the foreigners.

If you are in doubt, I repeat: do not hesitate! I am sure it will be useful in your professional and, above all, personal life. If you come to Spain, but you have not decided the city yet, I strongly recommend Salamanca, because it is beautiful, very cheap (Seriously! For example, I pay 160 euros per month in a room  with all the bills included) and the University is the oldest and  traditional of Spain.

Meu nome é Bianca, sou aluna do 5º semestre de jornalismo e estou numa temporada de intercâmbio em Salamanca, Espanha. Escrevo-lhes a fim de incentivá-los a essa aventura, uma vez que estou aqui há pouco menos que um mês e posso afirmar com segurança que tem sido um dos melhores momentos de minha vida.

A Espanha é linda, as pessoas – ainda que mais fechadas se comparadas aos brasileiros – são amáveis e hospitaleiras. A Universidad de Salamanca é, para usar uma palavra bem espanhola, estupenda! Os professores são geniais e os alunos muito receptivos com os estrangeiros.

Se você está na dúvida, repito: não hesite! Tenho certeza de que será proveitoso no âmbito profissional e, sobretudo, pessoal. Se vem para a Espanha, mas ainda não decidiu pela cidade, recomendo firmemente Salamanca, porque é  linda, muito barata (mesmo! Por exemplo, pago 160 euros por mês num quarto já com todas as contas incluídas) e a Universidad é a mais antiga e tradicional da Espanha.
