Subjects
It is a major part of the student's application to prepare a learning agreement informing which subjects him/her chooses to be enrolled at Mackenize. For choosing the subjects offered at Mackenzie click here.
There are also subjects offered in English that are not included in the current disciplinary grid of our faculties but exchange students may enroll at those as well. For choosing these subjects click here.
Portuguese for Foreigners
At Mackenzie we have CLEM (Mackenzie International Language Center) which offers options of languages courses. One of them is the Portuguese course for foreigners. The professors at this program are all Masters which means a higher quality in the study of the Portuguese language.
For students from partner universities coming to Mackenzie for an Exchange Program it is offered a free Portuguese course for motivating an enhancement and development of their knowledge of Portuguese.

Work out at Mackenzie
The QualiMack project which presents Mackenzie's Gym as one of its actions, offers five free spots especially reserved for foreign students taking an exchange program at Mackenzie Presbyterian University coming from partner universities and interested in this type of activity.
In order to register for this project it is necessary that the student submits a Medical Certificate stating that he/she is able to perform physical exercises at the gym. We recommend that students who are interested in this program bring along the Medical Certificate from their home country in order to accelerate the enrollment process at QualiMack activities.
This certificate may be in the Spanish, French, Italian or English (besides Portuguese) language, the date of issue must be no more than 2 (two) months prior to the student's arrival in Mackenzie University and must be on letterhead of the doctor/office that issued the document.
Cooperation
An agreement is a tool to interinstitutional cooperation, a settled partnership through two Institutions interested in developing research, students and faculty exchanges besides spreading courses and other relevant information. Each agreement has its own procedures that run the established agreements in its proper contract.
It’s the agreement that enables an exchange program but it alone doesn’t guarantee the acceptation of the faculty and the student proposal in the chosen University. The exchange effectiveness is the result of a communicative process that varies according to the Institution profile.
These agreements aim at representing and supporting the Presidency of Mackenzie Presbyterian Institution in the implementation and development of projects and activities involving international partners aiming at students, faculty and research experience sharing.
