Antônio José do Nascimento Filho, D.Miss.
Visiting Professor of Missiology

Doctor in Missiology from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson, Mississipi, EUA). Master in Education, Arts and History of Culture from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2004). Professor Antonio Jose served on the mission field for six years and is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil for 23 years.

Cláudio Marra, D.Min.
Visiting Professor of History of Christian Education

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississipi, USA. Bachelor in Theology and Social Communication. He also teaches Homiletics at José Manoel da Conceição Presbyterian Seminary, SP. He is author of A Igreja Discipuladora, as well as other articles and essays.

 

 

 






David Jussely, Ph.D.
Visiting Professor of the D.Min. Program

He is currently an associate professor of practical theology at Reformed Theological seminary in Jackson, Mississipi. Dr. Jussely has over 25 years of pastoral experience in his home state. He has filled pulpits in Centreville, Yazoo City and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. While serving these busy pastorates, David Jussely has enjoyed serving on the boards of Insurance, Annuity and Relief of the PCA and Reformed University Ministries (MS). He received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi in Speech Communication with a dissertation entitled, The Puritan Use of the Lectio Continua in Sermon Invention (1640-1700). Dr. Jussely has also been a speaker for various conferences in the United States and in a number of nations abroad, including Northern Ireland, Mexico, Canada and Jamaica. He serves as Dean of Students, Director of the D.Min. Program, and Director of Placement in Jackson. 

 

 






Elias Medeiros, D.Miss.
Visiting Professor of Missiology

Dr. Elias dos Santos Medeiros has been an ordained minister of the Gospel since January 1975. While in Brazil he worked in pioneer church planting (rural and urban). He also taught at several theological institutions in Brazil, including the Presbyterian Seminary of the North, and was Dean at the Evangelical Missions Center. In addition to numerous articles, he has written Teaching Them to Make Disciples of All Nations and Missiology as an Academic Discipline in Theological Education. Dr. Medeiros is deeply committed to evangelism through every member of the body of Christ.

 

 






Dr. Frans Leonard Schalkwijk
Visiting Professor of Church History

Doctor of Church History (Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie). He was missionary to Brazil for many decades, working primarily with theological education in the Presbyterian Church of Brazil (IPB). He has published many articles and his publications include the Greek Grammar Coinê: Pequena Gramática do Grego Neo-Testantário and "Igreja e Estado no Brasil Holandês", 1630-1654.

 

 






Heber Carlos de Campos Jr., Th.M.
Visiting Professor of Church History

Heber has a Bachelor degree from Seminário Presbiteriano Rev. José Manoel da Conceição, SP (1998); Master in Theology from Andrew Jumper Post Graduate Center, SP (2003). He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan (EUA). He was visiting professor at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids.

 

 






Steve Nash, Ph.D.
Visiting Professor of Exegetical Theology

Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical and Hermeneutical Studies from Westminter Theological Seminary. He is an missionary with CB international, working with theological education in Brazil. He has articles published in academic journals.

 

 






Rev. Wadislau Martins Gomes
Visiting Professor of Counseling

Ph.D. candidate in counseling by Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana (EUA). He is director of Ministério Refúgio in Mogi das Cruzes, SP, and visiting professor since 1997. He's written many books, including: "Sua Multiforme Sabedoria" (1979), "Estudos Bíblicos Sobre a Salvação" (1979), "Em Terras dos Brasis" (1984, 1999), "Força para a Família na Crise Moderna" (1996), "Coração e Sexualidade" (1998), "As Agridoces Cadeias da Graça" (2001) e "Aconselhamento Redentivo: Afeições em Moção" (2004).

 

 






Wilson do Amaral Filho
Visiting Professor of Christian Education

Ph.D. candidate in Education at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, SP. He received his Bachelor in Theology from FTBSP; Philosophy from UMC; Master in Christian Education from CPAJ; and Master in Education, Art, and History of Culture from UPM. He is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil since 1978, serving currently in the Second Presbyterian Church of Jundiai, SP, since 1999.

 

 

 






Wilson Santana, Ph.D.
Visiting Professor of Church History

He received his doctoral degree in Science of religion from PUC-SP; the Master in Science of Religion fom UMESP-SP. He is currently serving as professor and coordinator of the Bachelor of Theology program at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, SP; as teacher at JMC-SP, and as an ordeined minister of the Presbyterian Church of Brazil in Jardim Marilene, SP.
