Call for application for Brazilian Scholarship Projects designed to attract Special Visiting Researchers and Youth Talents – Science without Borders
In the first call, for Special Visiting Researchers, the coordinators of graduate programs accredited by CAPES will be responsible for submitting proposals in line of research 1. In line of research 2 the applicant must be a contributing researcher in Brazil with a PQ scholarship from CNPq or equivalent. Grant: R$ 14.000,00 (reais - Brazilian money) per month. The project will also offer a post-doctoral scholarship in the country and a sandwich PhD abroad.
In the second call, for Young Talents, the coordinators of postgraduate programs accredited by CAPES will be responsible for submitting proposals in line of research 1. In line of research 2 the tenderer can be a contributing researcher in Brazil with a PQ scholarship from CNPq or equivalent (form in Portuguese) or a doctor researcher abroad interested in doing research in Brazil (English form). Grant: R$ 7.000,00 and the project will be funded for up to 36 months with the aid of up to R$ 60.000,00.
It is offered three calendars during 2012. In the first one, entries close on February, 15th 2012 and the projects are expected to begin in April, 2012.
